Original Post(3/19/20): Members of the McAllen Share Group AA Meeting, after thoughtful consideration, we are suspending all McAllen Share Group Meetings effective 1:00 pm on March 20th, 2020, making Friday’s (3/20) Noon meeting the final meeting until further notice. The decision was made in part by an order that went into effect at 5 pm on March 19th by the City of McAllen. We encourage that you visit online meeting groups, YouTube™ speaker meetings, read the Grapevine®, or attend the Conference Meetings that have been set up by District 10. As always, health and safety are of peak importance, as is our sobriety. Any changes or announcements will be made available via this website or through GC members.
Updated Post(3/20/20): After further consideration, meetings at McAllen Share Group will resume as regularly scheduled. However, there is an exception. The exception states that there should only be a maximum of 10 people in the building (Not per room) at a single time. The chairperson will enforce the exception. The chairperson may kindly ask anyone who causes the capacity of 10 to be exceeded, as ordered by the City of McAllen, to vacate the meeting.
